Originally formed in early 2003 when both still lived in North Dakota,
In Ink Please is a lo-fi indie pop duo on independent Baltimore label
Fall Records. Because Vanessa loves chemistry and hates the cold,
she moved to Seattle to go to college in 2004. The members of In Ink
Please get together as often as possible, and usually end up writing
catchy songs or playing Black Sabbath covers. Once they even went
camping.
In the summer of 2003, IIP did a short tour around the Midwest. They
had so much fun that they went out to the West Coast and met up with
their friends Snow Cuts Glass (Bellingham, Wash.) for a longer trip
in the summer of 2004. This year, they're getting ambitious and planning
a national tour (again with Snow Cuts Glass) in support of their upcoming
album Formica Table...for Two, planned for release in mid-summer on
Fall Records. Stay tuned for tour dates.
